A Knight's oath and Blessing[/font][/size]
'As a faithful knight of the Realm of Dol Amroth, I give my allegiance to the great city of the coast of Belfalas of Gondor...and say...'Hail the King and Stewards of Gondor '. With knowledge, wisdom and skill I will take the order of a knight's duty ere no breath of complaint; completing the tasks honorably...with virtue, uphold the laws & ordinances of Dol Amroth, whilst protecting her noble citizens from those who seek power to oppress their freedom and happiness...Alas, if war claims our lands, by Elbereth, I will unite sword for sword of other knights in courage & strength; fighting against the dark forces that lie in the hearts of men. Even though death may be my companion, fear will not be my foot stool...Let my reward be that of peace for the lands of Gondor...and Middle-Earth, may she have rest as I stand at her side from generation-to-generation'

nothing less than is expected of him
yet, he gives more than is asked
A Knight is sworn to protect
all who cross his path
yet, he seeks not just his own
but, for those whose path
is far away and hidden
A Knight is valiant in his duties
never wavering in his call
yet, he some how finds the time
to pick up the extra mile for another
whose duties lack
A Knight's highest Honor Code
to give his life if need be
to stay the hand of death
for a stranger or a friend
Tis the highest gift he can offer
an exchange of death over life
It is here we honor our dead
to pay tribute to the life they gave
asking no reward
nor honor of fame
always victorious in their attempt
to serve and protect
until their last breath
is called forth'
